PostBeyond, an online marketing company that specializes in selling over social and employer branding, looked at 2017-2018 profits per employee for the tech companies in the Fortune 500. Facebook took the top spot with over $600,000 in net profit per employee. Apple profits per employee were also in the multiple six-figures at over $390,000. Five other tech firms exceeded $100,000 in net profits per employee:
- Facebook – $634,694
- Apple – $393,097
- Microsoft – $171,000
- Alphabet – $158,057
- Cisco – $131,81
- Netflix – $109,588
- Booking holdings – $102,218
- Adobe – $94,252
- Oracle – $67,645
- HP – $51,551
