Customers are furious after Nationwide’s online banking system has been down for over 12 hours.
The largest building society in the world notified thousands of its customers that it would be working on “our systems” from 11.59pm on Saturday until noon on Sunday.
A tweet stated: “This means you won’t be able to make payments or transfer money. To prepare, please move money before our work starts.”
