“I’m trying to pay my latest bill, sadly I can only do this on my phone at the moment. What happens if I can’t pay before the statement due date, because of the app issue?” one worried customer asked on Twitter.
The bank replied: “I’m sorry you’re being affected by the issues we’re seeing on our Mobile Banking app. We are aware of it and working hard to get this put right.”
According to Barclay’s service status page the Barclaycard App wend down at 10:44 am while Barclay’s mobile banking stopped working at 9:56 am..
