In the future, job-searching might not involve so much effort on the part of the candidate. Instead, employers could rely on new technology that scrapes public data to identify ideal employees to make hiring decisions – even use facial recognition algorithms to track for enthusiasm.
Traditional interviews with an interviewer and interviewee could go by the wayside, too. Rather than a two-way interaction, job candidates will upload video responses to interview questions. New technology will detect non-verbal cues such as those facial expressions and tone while eliminating human bias.
